The challenge
Judging a coffee roast by eye is subjective. Roast Degree Analyser set out to identify the roast level and quality of coffee beans from the phone’s camera.
The result has to be consistent from photo to photo, which means the image processing has to handle real-world lighting and cameras.
The approach
Our developers wrote the image-processing code and built native iOS and Android apps around a quick capture-and-analyse flow.
