Lunch 2U: Food Van Tracking App

The challenge

Lunch 2U runs food vans on set routes. Customers wanted to know exactly where the van was and when it would arrive; the business needed to manage drivers, customers and routes.

Live location only helps if it’s accurate and quick to update, for both the driver on the road and the customer waiting for lunch.

The approach

We designed and built iOS and Android apps for drivers and customers, with a CodeIgniter CMS and Firebase for live updates.

• Drivers choose a route and start their journey from the app
• Customers track the van’s real-time location
• Estimated delivery times for every stop
