The challenge
Upload Printing sells customised products. Customers wanted to modify or redesign an item their own way, and sellers wanted to bring their existing Shopify products with them.
Custom designs mean a lot of image processing and many orders with unique artwork, on a platform shared by multiple sellers.
The approach
We designed and built a custom eCommerce platform in CakePHP with an online product designer, image processing through Imagick, and a Shopify import for sellers.
