The challenge

La Palma has a wide range of local businesses. FAEP wanted one guide where residents and visitors find stores, education, accommodation, active tourism, advisory services and much more.

A directory with many categories and listings, and lots of images, has to stay fast and easy to search, on an island where many visitors browse on mobile data.

The approach

We designed and built the guide in Laravel with Google Maps, and used our own image-compression process so listing photos take less storage and load faster.
